Zbigniew Still, 22, of Philadelphia, and Jarrett Fort, 19, of Glenside, were sentenced after pleading guilty to a home invasion in the 100 block of Reliance Place, Hilltown Township, on May 25, 2023, according to a news release from the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Still, Fort, and a still-unidentified third person arrived at the home in a rented vehicle, masked, and dressed as sheriff's deputies, the news release states. They told a resident they were with the Sheriff's Department and had a warrant.
Armed with a gun, they forced their way into the home, zip tied the victim, and moved him to another location within the house, according to the news release. Then they stole two firearms, a large quantity of marijuana, $4,000 in cash, and some clothing.
After they fled the home, the victim was able to call for help, the news release states.
Police released surveillance photos of Still, Fort, and the third person on Monday, June 5, 2023, according to a previous Daily Voice report.
Still and Fort were arrested and charged on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, according to court documents. They pleaded guilty to Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, and two counts of Theft by Unlawful Taking.
Fort is also facing charges in Philadelphia for carrying a firearm without a license, openly carrying a firearm in public in Philadelphia, and possessing a firearm with an altered manufacturing number stemming from a Monday, June 5, 2023 incident, court documents state.
